  • The submission file is in MS Word or PDF format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Authors submitting an abstract for the Engaging Mathematics Learners with AI special issue should prepare a document that is 1–2 pages in length, double-spaced. The abstract should include a concise and descriptive title, a brief overview of the proposed AI-driven activity or task, an explanation of how AI tools are used to enhance learning or teaching, and reflections on the task's expected outcomes or value for mathematics education. Formatting should align with the font, spacing, and margin guidelines used for full manuscripts. Accepted abstracts will guide the development of full manuscripts. For further details, consult the “Manuscript Preparation” instructions.

For full manuscripts, authors are invited to submit documents in English, Spanish, or Chinese, ranging from 1,000 to 4,000 words (excluding references). Manuscripts should begin with an introduction that provides context and purpose, followed by a detailed description of the activity, an explanation of how AI enhances learning outcomes, and reflections on the task's effectiveness and implications for mathematics education. Submissions should be formatted as .DOCX or LaTeX files, using 12-point Times New Roman or Arial font, double spacing, and 1-inch margins. APA-style headings should be used for organization. Figures and tables must include descriptive captions, and high-resolution images should be submitted as .PNG or .JPEG files. The formatting requirements for abstracts and full manuscripts are identical to ensure consistency.
