TEA at the AMS 2025 Meeting in New Orleans

On October 4, 2025, the Technology Educator Alliance (TEA) organized the special session
“Engaging Mathematics Learners with AI” at the AMS Fall Southeastern Sectional Meeting hosted
by Tulane University, New Orleans. Organized by Michael Todd Edwards (Miami University),
Carlos A. López González (TEA), and Zheng Yang (Sichuan University–Pittsburgh Institute), the
session unfolded in two blocks that captured diverse perspectives on AI in mathematics education.
