GeoGebra as a motivational tool for teaching and learning in Slovakia

Abstract

In this article we describe some activities, which we propose to implement within the framework of Slovak GeoGebra Institute. We present several works that use the GeoGebra software and were created by the students of pedagogy at Catholic University in Ružomberok. We describe some pedagogical applications of using GeoGebra in mathematics and computer science. Finally, we suggest some project possibilities for research and application of the GeoGebra in the education and in the work with university students of pedagogy or students at secondary schools.
